On being organised and trying not to forget too much...

I got this filofax for my birthday last year and I don't know how I would ever manage without it. It contains most of my lists and important things to remember. Just recently, in a bid to clear out valuable mental space for more interesting things, I made myself some 'housework' lists (four different weekly lists, to fill a month, so that I never have to think about what needs doing for the week). Phil laughs at me, but I am rather pleased with these!
In my bid to remember everything, I can't seem to get enough of lists, and my visual diary is also filled with various lists of ideas, projects on the go, potential quilt series, and things to try. I rediscovered the list below this evening - it's inspiring all over again to revisit old lists!

let phil laugh ... I have a list like that :) ... exactly the same idea - four weekly lists to fill a month ... but owen doesn't laugh, he actually thinks mine is not detailed enough ;)

I don't exactly laugh... more like a smile; or is it a smirk? :) Bronya, maybe you and Ruth could compare lists! ... or post them here and let the general populace decide who's list is sufficiently detailed... :) anyone else agree?

Love the lists Ruth - my filofax looks like that too. If it's cluttered with lists- I feel organised. Even if you get one thing crossed off I've achieved something! Rob always says that I should have a "post list" - all the things I did that weren't on my list :) - Tash
