I wanted to say hi and identify myself as the crazy lady who just spent a couple hours reading through your archives.
I promptly looked you up after getting my SAQA journal and reading your article--I saw your quilt in Athens (congratulations, btw, it's stunning)--and I was in awe of your work on its own. I'm now completely bowled over to know that you do it while mothering three little ones and growing a new one! I have newly-minted 5- and 3-year-olds, and I really cannot fathom how you do what you do. (I just heard the tune to the Doxology in my head as I typed that--I guess that probably answers how you do what you do.)
I have a question (as a fairly new quilter who is struggling a bit with piecing oddly-shaped bits): did you figure out on your own how to do piecing the way you do, and if not, how did you learn?
